I have treatment resistant depression. I've tried the majority of psychiatric meds except for MAOIs and TCAs. I did try Parnate for several months, but the antidepressant effect eventually wore off and I was unable to manage the insomnia. I went up to 70 mg, but my BP spiked so I decided to taper off it. I'm now trying Emsam 12 mg for about two weeks but haven't noticed much improvement.

It's good to know I'm not the only one that feels worse after a long run. However, I'd hate to give up running. My depression has already taken so much from me (career, relationships, etc) I'd hate to have to give up on running.
