I see nothing funny about any of this.I think most of us would like generic drugs to be equally functional as the original products.
I can't be bothered to explain why I was able to take 500 mg of Mylan lamotrigine without receiving benefit or experiencing side effects. Excipients perhaps? If I took 500 mg of GSK Lamictal, I wouldn't be able to remember my own name. Teva was better, but inadequate at 200 mg. Upon my return to Lamictal 200 mg, I was able to recapture its antidepressant effect within 48 hours. My doctor is not the only one to see defects in generic lamotrigine.
