>Waking up like that is a pain in the *ss. Honestly I don't think Trimipramine is going to provide you with a reprieve. Maybe Doxepin, but here's my list of 'sleep aids':
I think I will ask for Doxepin. The problem with Clomipramine is that it increases stage 1 and decreases the REM latency and REM sleep which leads to many unwanted awakenings. The purpose of Trimipramine is to increase REM, but like I said it is very random. Maybe I should lower the dose of Clomipramine. When I didn't take any medications I had a great sleep quality. I miss that..
>Clomipramine by itself can cause sedation after dosing. Perhaps you'd do better on a slightly higher dose, say 100 mg. Remember, max dosage for depression or anxiety is usually 150 mg.
>I have experience with Clomipramine. I take 100 mg along with 40 mg Viibryd to treat OCD and bipolar depression. When I was on the Chlomipramine alone, I was taking 200 mg. It brought me out of a long depression and really helped my OCD. The only problems I had with it were EPS and anorgasmia.I had a long period on 75mg but it made things worse, I was so exhausted during the day.
Thank you
