Saw pdoc today and she said all the test results are good, but then when I asked about TSH she said it was high. Apparently my GP had sent me the requisition for the TSH test. Pdoc didn't seem concerned at all so I must be OK. She added the T4 test.
I hope I get thyroid meds for this so that I can reverse some of my weight gain.
Pdoc really really wants me off the Risperdal asap. She really does not like it. She suspects it is causing problems. My Risperdal got reduced to 0.25mg.
I'm doing pretty well I guess. She's happy that I'm eating healthy now and losing weight. She still wants me to do more exercise though. She mentioned that my weight loss was a little rapid. She doesn't want me to fall into the trap of losing and gaining weight repeatedly.
I'm really happy with my weight loss so far. I've lost 9 pounds and I'm second place in one of the weight loss competitions. I'm in 3 weight loss competitions now and I think I actually have a good chance at winning some money!
I can't wait until I'm thin! I think this time I will actually be successful and maintain my weight loss because I'm not obsessed with counting calories this time. I just eat when I'm hungry. I'm also prepared to eat this way for the rest of my life. I hope I settle down to a low weight.
I still eat junk food once in a while and I don't freak out and fall off the wagon now. My goals are long term and overeating one meal is not going to make a difference.
