Low doses of sulpiride and amisulpiride can alleviate social phobia and anhedonia by enhancing dopamine production. The doses of sulpiride used are in the range 50mg - 200mg. I think an equivalent amisulpiride dose will be 25mg - 100mg. This effect can be short-term though so I wouldn't bank on long-term treatment. But you can try it at 25mg and see what happens. You'll have to wait until the amisulpiride you're on now washes out of your system though.
But sulpiride has been shown in the lab to facilitate fear extinction, and at non-neuroleptic doses of 50mg - 200mg. I think if you responded to amisulpiride then starting at a 50mg dose of sulpiride and and moving in 50mg increments to an upper limit of 200mg would be worth trying.
I know how much social phobia sucks, believe me. How long have you had it?
C-PTSD: social phobia, major depression, dissociation.
Currently: 300mg amitriptyline single dose at night.
Also: Allegra, 1000mg Vitamin C.
Improving.
