Hey Z,
I've never had constipation on Nardil. I'm more the opposite with irritable bowel - diarrhea. Not a fun subject. I control it with lots of fiber. I use large doses of psyllium husk. You have to take it two hours before or after the meds.I am self employed. I had a psychologist tell me once that it is really hard to recover from depression with this lifestyle. I'm sure disability is even worse. She said you need the structure of that regular routine to help you beat the depression. It has been hard for me. My depression is atypical. If I think I can sleep through an episode of pain, I will. And being self employed allows me to do this. Bummer!
The Nardil has made it much more comfortable to be out interacting with people. If I had to do it over again, knowing what I do now, I would have stuck with a regular job. The structure does help. I'm in investment real estate. It is not something you can quit without going bankrupt. Oh well, made my bed, now I can lie in it! (cliche)
Good Luck,
Jedi
