I'm wondering if I should have done this. I had this therapist several years ago who was mean to me, gave me an inaccurate diagnosis, and tried to play doctor. I called him once to get records, he made up some BS excuses. Then I had him served with a subpoena b/c one of my ex-shrinks was being investigated by the state medical board. I called again, told him if I didn't get my records I'd be taking action against him. He gave me my records.
I didn't bother reading most of my records. I saw the part where he called me "wide-eyed" and I'd had enough. That was months ago.
So I called again today, hoping to get him. He's out of the office today, so I left him a voice message. I said that the guy he called a wide-eyed, drug-addled schizophrenic is doing fine. I also called him a worthless, incompetent, mind-f*cker. I did tell him to have a good day, which I think sweetens it up a little bit.
What do you think? It was just so...cathartic.
