There are at least two of us who've started Nardil recently, countless more who've been on it awhile longer. As I continue to gradually get better (I got out of bed at 6 today and actually felt less burdened by ordinary morning chores) I thought I'd repost one poster's experience with this drug for encouragement:

(I wonder how this guy is doing. Also, I wonder how our "Nardil heavyweight champion" ace is doing? His posts always made me laugh, he's quite an energetic and entertaining guy. :-)
I wish I'd bookmarked it, but a Google book search recently explained the "waves" or "blips" concept as being normal. In other words, the author was making the case that if you have some symptom relief and it fades, that's normal--and not to freak out. He made the argument that as you stay with therapy, the "blips" or "waves" or whatever you want to call them will get longer and longer, and the depressive parts get shorter and shorter, until, ideally, the majority of symptoms are resolved.
I hope this to be true! Helps me lose my fear that I'm cycling and, perhaps, convince me that this is the natural way depression goes away for some folks.
What do you guys think?
