I bought a can of tyramine when i started MAOIs but never bothered.>This probably accounts for some of the "Parnate insomnia", though I guess that insomnia is also partially caused by the same mechanism as insomnia in SSRIs, i.e. more serotonin stimulation.
i think increased melatonin levels may also play a role.I agree w/ whoever said that carb restriction is probably the easiest way to deal wiht phenelzine wieght gain.
