Also a NE reuptake inhibitor increases norepinephrine and epinephrine to all adrenergic receptors and subtypes, so alpha 1, beta 1, beta 2 and their subtypes. An alpha 2 agonist decreases the norepinephrine release in teh short term and only really helps increase transmission with the alpha 2 receptor.


Complaints: post-SSRI problems: anhedonia, memory and concentration problems, sexual anhedonia. )
