luvox, a sigma 1 agonist

According to Wiki it is remarkable in that it is an agonist if the siigma 1 receptor. It will take a different brain to unpack the significance of that action.

It is prescribed for gad, ocd, and ptsd and social phobia.

Luvox fell from favor (according to wiki) after the Columbine shootings. One of
the kids was on it.

It also somehow interferes with the functon of diazaepam. Maybe it
competes? (Wild guess.)

Dosage varies depending on condition treated and age.

50mg is a starting dose. 100 mg is often used either in two doses or all at once
nightly. If I recall, therapeutic dose can go as high as 300mg.
