In my own experience I felt zero effect until about 48 hours. I wasn't able to sleep, which is usual for me, but this insomnia was different. I now use 5mg of Valium. I can't tolerate seroquel.
Now almost a month in, I feel stable on the emsam. I sleep on the Valium. I'm thinking of bumping up my emsam dose.
Remember that much of my anxiety was due in great part to becoming hyper-thyroid--a separate but coinciding event. I haven't taken my armour thyroid for two days and feel immensely better.
I think you'll be fine on emsam. You might need nardil to get you out of the house, but agrophobia is best dealt with in comfortable small steps.
However, emsam could be your ticket. That would be super.
Get that pesky doc to call you back! Argh. I so dislike making phone calls.
Hang in there
