Hi Phillipa,
Nice to hear from you again. I don't think I ever took Luvox, though with all the meds I've been reporting here over the years, it's entirely possible. There are many I just don't remember.Today I'm wiped even worse than yesterday. However I didn't take the Abilify, so hopefully the effects will begin reversing soon.
I have one of those blood-pressure cuffs (md calibrated it for me in his office) and thought I'd better check things out given how I was feeling. Seems my heart is slow to react whenever I exert myself today. It takes much longer to come up to speed when I do any bending or lifting.
When this happens I've been measuring about 85/60, pulse 90+. Eventually it gets up to about 110/70 but it takes far too long to be comfortable.
This is an effect I noticed when I first started taking SSRIs, though this time it's a lot more extreme. In the case of the SSRs, it just took me longer to get "second wind" when I was exercising. Now it takes me a lot longer to stop "seeing stars" if I do any bending or lifting.
It's frightening. I'm keeping an eye on it.
Reggie
PS: the weather here (NH) is gorgeous today. It helps a lot. I'm doing light work with my deck plants. Calms my nerves somewhat.
