Synthroid anyone every get nightmares from taking?

Last year or so been getting horrible frightening nightmares right after I wake and take synthroid and go back to sleep as wake early and this way stomach empty. Was thinking even thought I test at l.5 now and endo says perfect to stop the med as can't tolerate waking this way any more. I don't recover til so late in the day. Thanks for any feedback Phillipa
