I like your reasoning ability regarding the properties of the various drugs you consider. You make a good connection between glycine and glutamate. I agree that it might be worth trying something new.

Can you describe in better detail what the test drug is supposed to do? You mention glutamate, but I think it would be helpful to others wanting to respond to you that you name this drug and provide information regarding its properties. I am guessing that it is an antiglutamatergic.
