> What dose were you on during the 9 months when you had difficulty with the side effects?
- I first increased dose to 75mg gradually and achieved good results but was still having lots of very bad days (at this point I didn't know that my main Dx is OCD, not depression and my IBS was also very bad). About a month or two later I requested I go up to 90mg on the basis that it might help and that my body weight had also increased so much (there is a rule of thumb that you should aim for (Weight in lb / 2) mg per day of Nardil).
> Did you stay on the same dose for a long time or switch?
- I've since stayed at 90mg, probably for over a year now.> And if you switched could you tell improvements of side effects at lower doses, while also maintaining therapeutic levels of medicine?
- to be honest I have trouble detecting dosage changes a lot of the time due to the IBS, which has such a complete effect over my daily health. Recently I've toyed with the idea of dropping to 75mg but every time I get a fresh reminder of just how horrible depression can feel, I then just don't want to rock the boat and change anything.
