"it appears that fluvoxamine inhibits several cytochrome P450 isoenzymes that are known to be involved in the metabolism of other drugs such as: CYP1A2 (e.g., warfarin, theophylline, propranolol, tizanidine), CYP2C9 (e.g., warfarin), CYP3A4 (e.g., alprazolam), and CYP2C19 (e.g., omeprazole)."
I have noticed that psychiatrists seem not to care much about these interactions among antidepressants, though. Like I think mixing Wellbutrin and Remeron (which I'm on) causes you to have raised blood levels of Remeron (its between two of my meds, not 100% sure which, but don't feel like looking it up). However, I found this out on my own, and no pdoc has ever mentioned it. I told one pdoc and he didn't appear to care.
