I've never met anyone w/ an adderall prescription quite that high. One of my friends took 90mgs, and his doctor straight up told him she wasn't going into the triple digits.
That said, I don't know. I'd be concerned about euphoria, manic reactions, psychosis, and cardiovascular problems at such a high dose, but I don't know that the risks are that much higher than your current dose (I'm not a doctor or anything).
Even if it might help you, I don't know that many doctors would give it the OK. I'm not saying this to discourage you, but I am saying that doctors are only generous with controlled substances up to a certain point. When you reach a certain point, doctors start to worry about addiction, dependence, drug-seeking behavior, etc.
If your doctor doesn't give it the go ahead, have you considered alternatives to augment your current dose of Adderall? I took Tofranil-PM once upon a time, and although it kind of made me angry (turns out, I'm bipolar), it doesn't do that for a lot of people. The Tofranil+amphetamine combo boosts the actions of both drugs and increases the concentration of amphetamine in the brain, which I guess is kind of like a dosage increase (?) .
Anyway, good luck to you.
