Just home from my all day trip to pdoc. She gave me a CD to listen to a talk given by a doctor who is practicing to other practicing doctors and topic was cerefolinNAC. Very interesting as the doc was honest to be said he would never give anything to hurt his patients but this could help at all stages of dementia pre, beginning, full blown. Some notice immediate relief and some a month or not at all. But those not at all it's stopping progression of dementia. No placebo effect for fast responders of a day or so but due to gene missing for that receptor. Seems 70% of people with depression, declining mental status are deficient. What threw me off during the talk was the addition of Deplin or are these the same? And then B12 which needs to not be based on blood levels cerebral spinal fuid as blood doesn't indicate brain levels of all of above. And now the recommended dose of Deplin is 15mg per day. Still a food supplement. The doc asked me to listen to Cd and mail back to her as she didn't have time to listen soon herself. She knows I"m into this and values my opinions. I have Deplin more samples and Rx for it. But in all seriousness is Cerefolin Nac and Deplin the same or need to be combined. This doc mentioned that for years it's know we the body needs vitamins and now honing in as them for medical RX foods? Anyone know anything about this. Seems a few years ago Deplin as new and now new discoveries on the power of these RX strenth medical foods? Phillipa
