>really, i'm going to say diet, even though that isn't a pill (hopefully). why take garlic pills when you could eat garlic??? eg, taurine was mentioned. taurine is found in fish. so eat some trout.
Kyolic may have some beneficial compounds that are in amounts you cannot get from simply eating garlic. You can get Kyolic on the cheap if you buy Vitamin Shoppe brand aged garlic, they are the only company that sells the patented Kyolic under their own brand name at a much lower cost.
>2 drinks a day-2 drinks a day is fine for men, but for women, at least the majority of women, 2 drinks is getting into the toxic range. 2 drinks for women a few times a week would not be a big deal(I believe in hormesis), but everday may be pushing it for many women. I realize Mathew is likely a man, but it sounded like you made a general recommendation for 2 drinks a day : )
A HUGE +1 on the exercise! I would work your way up to intense exercise for 20 minutes and interval sprints(running, eliptical machine, stationery bike, swimming, whatever) once or twice a week for 12 to 15 minutes, again, when you are ready of course.
