I suppose what really needs to be investigated and treated individually is WHAT IS CAUSING THE INFLAMMATION??? Personally, I feel that bad luck of the genetic draw is what has done me in. I have arthritis and asthma. My arthritis began in childhood. BUT, just recently I was found to have problems with some foods that add to an inflammatory process. I still don't think that is the "underlying cause" because WHY do I have an immune reaction to foods? I keep going back to just bad genetic luck.
By the way, Here are two important links about the food connections, even though, like I said the next question should be even WHY are we having these reactions and what can be done closer to the underlying cause, rather than just avoiding the foods?http://sites.google.com/site/jccglutenfree/
