I've been dealing with depression since I was really young, too, and I'm very medication-resitant. So I've tried lots of medications, and nothing ever got me out of the depression enough that I could function, even with good therapy. They finally started me on MAOIs, and parnate worked a little. But Emsam works really well... at least for the depression. It makes my anxiety worse, but that's a little easier for me to deal with, generally.
And I guess the anxiety could be responsible for my memory problems. I have a lot harder time remembering things that have happened or I've learned when I'm at a high stress level. But this feels a somewhat different than the memory problems I've had from anxiety before, so I'm not sure.
