Lamictal anc hair loss

I tried Lamictal at the dose of 25mg very long ago and aftre 1 sole week I left it because I was starting to loose my beard in a single spot over my face, below the nose. Now not all the hair have regrown...
Now my pdoc would like to give it another try and suggested to start from a dose of only 12,5mg.
Do any of you guys experienced similar sides or hair loss or other skin related sides other than the infamous skin rush ?
