I take 100 mg daily of B6 just to counteract the affect of Nardil on the nutrient. Ironically, like you said, too much B6 leads to peripheral neuropathology; too weird. It does seem to help with my carpal tunnel and some neuropathology in my lower legs. A year ago, when my doctor used the tuning fork on my ankles, I could not even feel it. Now it is quite noticeable. The B6 probably helped some, along with losing about another 40 lbs.I am a real believer in supplements. When everybody around me is sick, I rarely even catch a cold now.
Here is what I take daily:
Muti: Centrum Silver - Costco generic
Vit C 500 mg - 1000mg if I feel a cold coming on
Vit D3 400 IU - Almost everybody is deficient in this - Especially in the
winter
Vit E 800 IU
Vit B6 100 mg - Nardil depletes B6 and can lead to peripheral neuropathy
CoQ-10 300 mg - Just a great antioxidant
Magnesium 400 mg
DHA 1200 mg - Omega3 - This is a no-brainer,
EPA 1800 mg - Omega3 - another no-brainer
Be well my friend,
