Its very common in MAO users to have the pattern of midday fatigue and late nate partial insomnia. Mice lacking MAO, show the exact same pattern of sleep/wake.

Anyhow, since the MAO action takes a while to react stedy state (and to return to normal) you'd think it wouldn't matter.

Parante might be a little different in that it does have some stimulant like activity. I would avoid it in the late evening. But, if parnate is not stimulating for you, you could always try it in the evening. But, I think a lot of MAO users fall into the pattern of dual sleep cycles.
