No, Wellbutrin XL is not marketed in the UK. It has not been banned - it was never available in the first place.

Bupropion is available in the UK under the brand name Zyban, which is licensed as an aid to smoking cessation. It is not licensed as an antidepressant, but is essentially the same as Wellbutrin SR. It is a twice a day medication.
