I am so tired of stimulants. I started early -
like in highschool with concerta and was very surprized how my thoughts changed. Everything seemed organized. With time I went through almost all of the stimulant types including atomoxetine (which raised my HR to 160 once and nurse freaked-out). I've been always anxious - but it seems that benzo's induce depression. Xanax rebound for example puts me in that state of being like a snake that is shedding its' skin. Being a human being you cannot do that - so that discomfort is unavoidable.I was on ziprasidone as mood stabilizer to which I was very sensitive - 10 mg makes me wanna sleep. And then I started Adderall after atomoxetine and I also highly sensitive to it, yet, reasonably, I need like 5-10 mg of clonazapam to feel relaxed enough to be able to look at someone's eyes. Stimulants help in that regard too, as it makes you feel as if you have high self-esteem but my body is reacting strangely and I know that at least adderall is not for me - the vaso-constriction (limited blood flow to hands and legs).
I ask if anyone had similar med routine and went on TCA? I am very concerned (I know it's my anxiety in part) about desipramine's rare side effects.
Whatcha think?
