If it were me and dexedrine made that much of a difference to me, I wouldn't hesitate to "see" an internet dr. and get the script.
As others have said, it is likely you'll build a tolerance to it quickly, but being someone who is struggling with MDD right now, I'd take just about anything (legal) that would give me a great couple of weeks or months just to have the joy of feeling good for a while. And who knows -- you may be one of the lucky few for whom it works for an extended time.
I think, with your ADD dx combined with your depression, that you're an ideal candidate for dex. I might emphasize the ADD aspect when I talked to the dr. though...just saying that it makes you feel "great" may lead a wary dr. to believe you're an abuser, and you certainly don't want that. (You know how judgemental drs. can be.)
I guess I'm lucky cause my pdoc will prescribe most anything I want if we think it will actually help my depression. Of course, I'm in the midst of an MDD bout right now, so we're obviously not succeeding much at this point, but nevertheless, after reading about so many people's drs. who won't give them maoi's or stimulents or benzo's unless they're at the point of suicide or hospitalized is ridiculous to me -- good luck and let us know what you do!
