I thought I had a hypertensive crisis last week after eating some parmesan cheese. I got a severe headache that went from my neck to my forehead. I went to the ER and asked them to take my BP. It was normal. So I guess I just got a bad headache. Since then I've gotten myself a BP cuff, so I can check my own BP.
