I read in a post somewhere on here that clonidine is used to help reduce the crash associated with stimulants like Adderall and Dexedrine.
I take my last dose of Adderall at 3pm and by 10PM I'm physically tired and ready to go to bed - but my heart rate is still kinda fast, my thoughts are still wide awake, etc etc - so I'm wondering if adding this at night would help calm the sympathetic effects of the Adderall and help me get to sleep sooner.
What do you people think? I've tried lowering the Adderall dosage from 20mg to 10mg - but still have the same crash at night.
I want to present this to my pdoc tomorrow -but what I DON'T want is him to either reduce my Adderall or quit it all together. How could I present this to my pdoc without him tinkering with the Adderall?
Thanks in advance!!
Jerry
