From what I've read on here it seems Parnate is generally a med that requires a lot of dose changing. Is this a general rule? If so how often do you have to. Is it similar for all MAOI's?
Also how do you know that you need to? Also how do you know if you are too low or too high in particular?
I been feeling worse and worse lately. I have atypical depression with low drive, motivation, concentration, tiredness, very anti-social, etc. Maybe my meds dont play well with Parnate or i seriously need an increase or reduction. But my dose is low enough as it is. I used to be on doses such as 20mg, 25mg, and 30mg a day this year. The 20mg and 25 have usually been the better ones. Yet 2 years ago I felt my best days on parnate when I was as low as 10mg and 15mg parnate along with some ritalin. I still take ritalin usually. I also take gabapentin but it seems to last only for a limited time such as month or so and then becomes more mild.
My body has been feeling extremely warm lately. Is this related to Parnate? It's hard to sleep.
Also if someone could tell me what could go well with Parnate I would appreciate any suggestions. benzos used to work somewhat well for me but maybe i developed too much tolerance to them as taking a valium after many days of not doing so doesn't seem to cause any upswing.
