> This morning my doc wrote me an Rx for Deplin. I dropped it off at the pharmacy, and just checked online to see if it is ready or not. When I checked it, the pharmacy filled it out for Duleek-DP instead of Deplin. My doc said there wasn't a generic form. Should I complain to the pharmacy when I go to pick it up? This is a nationally known pharmacy, not a local store.
You might as well ask the pharmacy to double check the prescription. Deplin is Deplin. Although Duleek-DP and Deplin are both L-methylfolate preparations, I don't know what the differences are. However, Deplin is indicated as an adjunct drug to standard antidepressants to treat depression. Duleek-DP is not.
The measure of achievement lies not in how high the mountain,
but in how hard the climb. The measure of success lies only in how high one feels he must
climb to get there.
