I'm wondering a dependency on klonopin isn't making your anxiety worse than it was before starting klonopin. There are some psychiatrists that believe benzos may interfere with the efficacy of SSRIs as they are CNS depressants, similar to the way alcohol may also interfere with SSRI efficacy. I'm just always curious to know how someone might have reacted to an SSRI after a few months if they had never been on a benzo from the get go.

It's possible that you may feel less anxiety if start raising the dose of Zoloft. I felt much better on 100 mg than I did on 50 mg.

I would seriously consider trying Lexapro instead of Celexa, if you are going to switch to another SSRI.
