Hi Maxime,
I'm sorry that (those) thoughts are perculating. I'm trying to think back to my distress tolerance skills for dealing upcoming events.
When I read your post, I remembered the thoughts I would have leading up to a drama performance in hs. Being hit by
a car, etc. That still happens when I think about it now. Now it ususlly precipitates an atypical panic (freezing).
Sometimes I imagine being in relationship to the impending event as somebody else (not saying that's good). I find evaluation or performance intolerable. Somehow I can turn ordinary events into performances.
What would come up if distress tolerance +anticipation was Googled?
Maxime, remember that most people are going to find your work at least better than average. People probably will like you--you have friends here. No one at work will know your struggles (a blessing and a curse--Monday, a blessing). Monday will be an ordinary day, and that is very good.
Hugs...
