> JamesRegarding TCAs, they aren't all compatible with MAOIs. Certainly, clomipramine and imipramine are drugs to stay away from. I have used either desipramine or nortriptyline to avoid serotonin issues. I am not aware of any contraindication in combining Lamictal and an MAOI. Did your doctor give you any details regarding this?
