In reply to a friend of me has adverse reactions to meds!!!!, posted by Jeroen on August 8, 2010, at 14:07:21
Hi Jeroen,
Clozapine (Leponex, Clozaril) frequently causes adverse reactions such as drowsiness, dizziness and headache. These side effects are not permanent - they will go away in time. If the symptoms are severe, your friend should consult his doctor for advice. It's possible that the symptoms are not side effects of clozapine, but could be caused by something else eg. a viral infection. Paracetamol can be taken for the headache whilst awaiting medical advice.
