There's no simple solution I'm afraid. Adding meds such as Wellbutrin can cause additional side effects. Wellbutrin can aggravate anxiety and there's no guarantee that it will work. If you reduce your Zoloft dose very gradually, there is no reason to believe that your health would be threatened. If you anxiety started to return, you could increase it back up again. Many people end up on a higher dose of SSRIs than they actually need because the dose was increased too quickly when the treatment was first started eg. the dose was increased after a few weeks without giving the lower dose a chance to work.
> Thanks everyone for responding. One of you asked me why it has taken 10 years to ask this question. Well I've been putting up with the problem for awhile but I'm getting frustrated that I can't have an orgasm when I'm making love with my wife. I'm thankful for the medicines that have made it possible for me to function. My father was not so lucky. He committed suicide in the early 60's because the medicines weren't available yet. So I am grateful for being able to function but it is not normal to not have an orgasm during intercourse. I also don't like it that I have to threaten my state of health to have an orgasm by lowering my dosage. Aren't the pharmaceutical companies working on this problem? I'm going to do some more research on this.
