weight loss on meds a myth

Posted by manic666 on July 26, 2010, at 7:02:35

the people who bang on about looseing weight on a antidepressant, are usuall overweight through comfort eating in depression before they start the med. Then when stable dont eat as much, ie loose the fat they obtained comfort eating when ill.1 brain cell thought that out. All the rest of use normal weight people ,the med upset,s the hole metabolism An slows the body down to give the brain a break .we become more slugish , bang in the extra burger because we feel i little happier. Its like a car engine you were 300bhp, now your running 200bhp ie slower. The alternative is to bin the meds, let you anxierty to move to nuke mode, depression go overload an die
