See this is very strange to me too. Nardil actually made my response to caffeine much better. A bit less euphoric, but more smooth and longer lasting (and less anxiety, not surprisingly).
In fact, i have found time and time again that without coffee, even Nardil -- at least at the low dose I'm on -- is not enough to prevent despair. I need two drugs to prevent a worsening of my depression: phenelzine and caffeine.
So these accounts are very puzzling to me. I wonder what the explanation is.
