I'm currently tapering celexa from 20 to 10mg and risperdal from 2 to 1mg. Today is day four and is the worst by far. I have a dizzy headache and nausea. My stomach seems very jittery. An hour ago I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin for about 10 minutes. Now I feel ok after drinking a protien shake. For some reason eating carbs helps. Last night I went out and binged on a greasy value meal. That's the first time I have done that in 4 months. I recently lost 30 pounds. I'd really hate to put all my weight back on during this taper. I've already gain 5 pounds this week
My biggest fear is that only four days in my body is just starting to detect that it isn't getting it's usual doses. What will 7-10 days out feel like. Does any body know about how long it takes for this stuff to balance out. I fan hang in there if this is the worst of it. It's worth it to get down to a smaller cocktail and reduce and have fewer sides, but I don't want to out myself through anything to rough.
I tried a low dose of tyrosine today which helped with the energy and body aches but I think it made me mire jittery. I may just have to sweat this out. Anybody's experience with ssri or antipsychotic tapers would be very appreciated. Please send good vibes my way.
