Hi Angel,
I have been taking Nardil for most of the past 12 years. I have always used something for sleep. Right now I rotate between 50mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride(Benadryl) and 12.5mg of quetiapine fumarate (Seroquel). In the past I have used 100mg of trazodone(Desyrel). I am really sensitive to the histamine receptor medications, so your mileage may vary.I do find that rotating the medications seems to help me keep efficacy for sleep. I will probably get another scrip for trazodone, since Seroquel is so expensive even at micro doses.
I have also used Ambien XR, but it does not seem to work as well for me as the histamine blockers.
Good Luck,
Jedi> When I take ambien at night the next day I feel really relaxed, maybe a little too relaxed, maybe thats why im not as social with the nardil when i'm not on ambien...but how am i going to go to sleep on Nardil with this insomnia if i dont use a sleeping pill?
