Hi Phillipa,

I've been on Pristiq since middle of January 2010. I've been on Zoloft, Prozac & Wellbutrin at various times for long periods. Zoloft used to be my favorite, but it totally killed all emotions and made me fat. I've tried Effexor, Lexapro and Cymbalta, but couldn't handle the start-up effects.

I feel pretty "normal" on Pristiq. I don't have depression and anxiety, but I don't feel doped up. I sleep well, don't overeat, exercise regularly, enjoy my family, don't get overwhelmed by everything, etc. So far, so good. We shall see how it works out long-term.

It really does take some time to work, though. I remember feeling the effects of Zoloft immediately whereas Pristiq took about 6-8 weeks for me to feel my anxiety subside significantly.

> That's encouraging how long you been on pristisq and what dose? How many meds before? Thanks Phillipa
