> Youtube, Truth About Antidepressants & Chemical Imbalance, Psychology
The term "chemical imbalance" has been used in the past to explain major depression in a simple way so that more people would appreciate its biological underpinnings. However, the physiology of major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder is accepted to be more complex, although not well understood. It is therefore accurate to say that there is no proof that there is a chemical imbalance. However, there is a great deal of evidence that there are associations between the presence of affective disorders and changes in the structure and function of the brain.

climb to get there.
