You need to be cautious with this informtation. Most antidepressants have both pro and antiapoptotic functions in different cell lines.
For instance, fluoxetine and amitriptyline do kill some cancer cells, but also work as tumor promotors in other cancer cells.
Just like the substance DHEA. It can potently kill certain cancers yet promote the growth of others.
