I've have often had feelings of hopelessness in the past when I see a doctor and realize from the things he/she is saying that there is just no way for a human who doesn't have mental illness to fathom it. Heck, I go through crises and then a few days or weeks later I'm hard pressed to remember some of the acute issues I was facing unless I've written them down.Emotional states only live in the present.
