Well this is just my experience, but on Effexor I was extremely constipated and completely numb sexually. It was a long time ago so I don't remember it very well, but I was hyper all the time back then and did not eat much which may or may not be related. On Pristiq I'm calm and kind of sleepy (I take it at night now as opposed to morning Effexor), mildly constipated, and the sexual side effects have mostly worn off after being on it for a few months. I guess you could say the side effects are milder this time around. I still haven't had as much improvement with OCD as I did on Effexor, but I haven't been on Pristiq nearly as long and my OCD is more severe this time.
