Thyroid test results

Posted by viper1431 on February 7, 2010, at 1:13:21

Just wanted some opinions on the results from my TFT's. They appear to be ok except for TSH but i'm stuck trying to figure out the causes of my problems and i notice hyperthyroidism has most of the effects that i have which i always thought would actually be hypothyroidism..

results:
TSH 0.24 mu/l reference range: 0.35-4.94
free T3 4.2 ref: 2.6-5.7
free t4 13.4 ref: 9-19

These are the syptoms listed on wiki
Major clinical signs include weight loss (often accompanied by an increased appetite), anxiety, intolerance to heat, hair loss, muscle aches, weakness, fatigue, hyperactivity, irritability, apathy, depression, polyuria, polydipsia, delirium, tremor, pretibial myxedema, and sweating. Additionally, patients may present with a variety of symptoms such as palpitations and arrhythmias (notably atrial fibrillation), shortness of breath (dyspnea), loss of libido, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Of those the ones i -don't- have:
polyuria, polydipsia, delirium, pretibial myxedema, palpitations and arrhythmias, hyperactivity and hair loss.

Doctor does say thyroid results say everything is fine though. I'm losing patience trying to figure this out.. it's been going on for so long!
