Stimulants less effective with SSRI?

Posted by paulbwell on February 4, 2010, at 22:37:22

After being off generic MPD for 1.5 years, i needed that overwhelmed dopamine back in balance. I added a lower dose of MPD than previously and felt slightly more motivated/drive back. I went to see my counsellor and a psych, and they confirmed 60mgs prolonged Fluoxetine use had lulled me, so I go to my GP and she doubles the MPD to and i get the more satisfactory Brand Ritalin SRs.

The pharmacist took me aback, when he said the script was the largest dose of Ritalin he had dispensed, being 2x the PDR max recommended dose.

but alls well, the stability of prozac, and the clear focus and clarity of mind of Ritalin.
