Thank you Bleauberry,
Do you know of any studies or is this your experience as a practitioner? I'm being really conservative here to make sure that I'm doing the right thing. I haven't worked in a pharmacy for so long that I don't have those resources at my finger tips.
Wellbutrin worked very well for me the last time I was on it. I think the amounts of dopamine satisfied the "feeling" full component. It helped with some pain and I felt more full (sexually) I'm fortunate and very bless that I dont have a depressive component to the disease. Yes I get bummed and frustrated from time to time cause it gets tiring to hurt all the time, but I'm very optimistic and have a very satisfying life. That wasn't always the case But for me, it hasn't been such, for some time. Even during the period that I wasn't on anything last year. I would feel frustrated, but not depressed. It's why I haven't concentrated on the serotonin so much. But I might be totally wrong about the importance of serotonin for pain management, even when one isn't presenting (or thinking that they aren't) with depression. Doing more talking to myself.. To rationalize my choices. 
Thank you for the suggestions about Ultram or Tramadol. I've not wanted to add any other analgesic to the mix. However, I'll remember this for a time if things feel like they're getting unmanageable again. It's nice to be aware of options.
Ritalin would be somewhat scary for me For energy I drink an energy drink my husband created that has caffeine but also is loaded with amino acids to ameliorate or mitigate the negative side-effects of caffeine that happen when your brain metabolizes caffeine without losing the up! The drink is stack amino acids such that one doesn't crash. I can't drink a regular caffeinated drink. It also has a ton of L-theanine in it so I get a calm awareness which is great when you're tired and tense from pain. Best... Fget
