The only thing that I can think of is that the brand has different additives and inactive ingredients than the generic, since they have the same active ingredients. The other option is that the way they've suspended the chemicals has caused them to release into your blood stream at a different rate, which could throw you for a loop, too. There have been several medications that several babblers have not been able to tolerate the generic for (lamictal and wellbutrin, for example). I think the only two options are to pay for the brand name or to wait and hope your body adjusts to the new formulation-- sorry-- I hope someone else has a better idea!
